Staff routinely ignores requests and is uncooperative

I have lived here for a year and a half. The location is excellent, but the leasing office staff routinely ignore e-mails and are unresponsive to large problems. The maintenance staff is understaffed and while the apartment looked great before moving in, it has become apparent that shortcuts were taken in the appliances and the bathroom. I have repeatedly engaged the maintenance staff (who says they can only slap more caulk on it and not fix the underlying tiling issue) and the leasing staff (who just don't reply to my e-mails). There are additional issues with random charges that are built into the lease: package delivery fees when the leasing office does no coordination with package delivery and I have packages misdelivered or stolen frequently; and trash fee, which would be a great service if it was consistent, I end up taking my trash out myself most of the time because they skip the third floor or just don't come if it rains. If management were able to actually fix and update the apartments in a timely manner and had better customer service, this could be a much better apartment complex.

Great place, some issues

I really enjoy living at Highland View. Now in my 5th year. (So that tells you something.) My issues are kinda picky -- but hey, they are my issues:) Trash has been a mess -- but seems to be kinda, maybe straightened out. Hopefully will stay that way. Suggestion: Send note to residents to please put bags of trash in dumpsters -- many just throw on the ground. I don't see why we pay for the package delivery service. I know, only $10 -- but does anyone use it? I get lots of packages and they are always delivered to my door by the sender. Finally, maybe a note to residents to pick up their dog poop. I am a huge dog lover, but really. Finally, a big shout out to Hunter and Sean -- great guys!

I have lived here for 8 months and found the location to be great. It is close to the beltline and Ponce City Market. However, Highland View is lacking in amenities and parking is not great if you are having visitors. Although rent is one of the cheaper apartments in ATL, Highland View will try to make you pay for extra fees/things like a pet fee, washer and dryer, among others.
